The Art of Pranking Someone When They Least Expect It!

I think that everyone can learn from this caption. There is a time and place for pranks,
and when you land one, the recipient has to acknowledge how good it is ..

.. but mess with a person's morning rituals, and you just might get punched in the MUG!

Made this for Sarine Davis, better known as Belladonna on Fictionmania. She's known for making stories involving work swapping, and of course, pantyhose. Often she uses bets or dares in her plots, and pranks follow closely as well. I saw this picture and just thought it was Sara.

As stated above, there are some unwritten rules about pranking. Usually you are only supposed to get your mark/target, not unsuspecting, innocent victims. Sometimes it can't be helped, but you really must control the theater of engagement, so to speak. Another is to not mess with someone's coffee. Yes, you CAN loosen up the sugar dispenser so it dumps a bunch into the cup, but it's completely amateurish, and you don't want a reputation as being that way, because you become fair game.

So here, the subject really accepts the prank fairly well. Just part of the joke when you fall into the trap. I'm sure when she gets her revenge, it is going to be swift, fast and harsh. In the meantime, she's going to be in for the ride of her life!

Sara responded to the caption and that she really loved the last line, which made me smile, because that line literally was pulled out of thin air. I had no way to end it and I just thought about coffee puns and word play and then the line burst into my head, and luckily it wrapped the plot up nicely. Although now that I think about it, does anyone percolate coffee anymore?

This week starts the mad rush to the end of the year holidays. Where did this time go? Damn! Less than 2 months and we'll be in 2018. Hope you are taking a breather now and again to look at what you have, what you've accomplished, and appreciate those who cherish you.

Feel free to comment on this caption or any of the most recent ones. I promise I'll answer if there is a question or discussion point you'd like to bring up!

  1. I have to agree with Sara - that last line really finishes off the cup!
